Quaint, extraordinary restaurant. The hostess was very friendly. There are delicious Baden tapas, good wine and great schnapps at fair prices. That evening there was live music, a guitarist with vocals, very nice. When we're back in Gengenbach, we'll definitely be back.

The concept of typical German dishes presented as tapas worked surprisingly well. Finally a chance to try all the classics like schnitzel and bradwurst, without feeling overly stuffed afterwards. Definitely give the maultaschen lasagna a try! Service was very good, our waiter was super friendly. We sat in the garden which was nicely lit and very cosy.

The service staff immediately remembered our name the first time. For me an absolute plus. We reserved a table again for the next day. The food is very tasty and highly recommended. Since the restaurant is very popular, it is advisable to reserve a table in advance. That in turn means good quality and satisfied guests.

Beautiful establishment with great food and service!

Excellent food, friendly service and comfortable atmosphere. Service was a little slow but everything else made up for it. The waitress/manager was fantastic and she was working very hard.

Worst service ever! The place is really cosy, but the service was terrible. The place was not fully full and we had to wait more than 1hs for 2 small salads and 1 flammkuchen. It's really a pity but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good place to go for a couple of drinks. They have a house beer. An unfiltered Pils. Tasty and different.

Good food nice surroundings and not that expensive manageress helped us translate the menu into english and made some suggestions which turned out to be very good would go back when we return to gengenbach
